Our story

Modest beginnings – over 35 years of passion

More than 35 years ago, a passionate chemist founded Effikace to develop cleaning products that are both effective and safe. A trained chemist, he formulated his own cleaning solutions by combining his scientific knowledge with a commitment to doing things right. From the start, the professional quality of his formulas based on biodegradable, natural, and phosphate-free ingredients has been the strength of Effikace.

For decades, these products were sold in the greatest simplicity, mainly at a local flea market stand. The founder of Effikace sold his cleaners almost exclusively at the Saint-Eustache flea market, preferring direct contact with his customers. This artisanal and discreet distribution explains why the brand has remained relatively unknown to the general public despite its long heritage.

A passion for the planet

Respect for the environment has always been at the heart of Effikace's philosophy. The founder cared deeply for the planet and wanted to eliminate the idea that one must choose between efficiency and ecology. For him, there was no question of sacrificing performance at the altar of eco-responsibility: his cleaning products had to excel while being safe for nature. Indeed, from the very beginning, Effikace sought to combine performance and respect for the environment, ensuring that no compromise was necessary.
